Want to learn more about Ebola? Feel a need to put recent events into a broader context that includes biological, medical, legal, and ethical perspectives? All members of the community are invited to attend the Ebola: At Home & Abroad Symposium on the evenings of February 12 and 13, 2015, 7 – 8:30 PM in the Kulynych Auditorium, Byrum Welcome Center, Wake Forest University. This event is free of charge and no advance registration is required. The symposium is sponsored by the Wake Forest University Center for Bioethics, Health, and Society, the Wake Forest University Department of Biology, and CERE (Center for Enterprise Research and Education. Professor Pat Lord of the Department of Biology and Professor Ana Iltis of the Department of Philosophy and the Center for Bioethics, Health, and Society will introduce two evenings of panel presentations and Q & A sessions. Panelists are from Wake Forest College, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, the Wake Forest University School of Law, the Wake Forest University School of Business, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
