How to Prevent a Panic Attack (1)

Did you know that “stressed” is just “desserts” spelled backwards? Beginning science students often report feeling stressed by the mere thought of EXAMS. Wake Forest University freshmen (and any upperclassmen who need encouragement) can prepare for this fall’s exams by attending a series of workshops titled “How to Prevent a Panic Attack on Your First College Science Exam.” See the poster! The first session is 6 -7 PM on September 8 in 126 Winston. Go online to pre-register so that we have enough materials for all participants. Note that it is not necessary to attend all workshops to derive benefit. Sponsors are the Chemistry Center, the Pre-Health Professions Program, and the Learning Assistance Center.
